Moving Sux

Dealing with new construction Sux

Lugging half of your old apartment to the trash Sux

Lugging garbage out to the dumpster to find it is overflowing because your 10 unit building's residents are all moving out at the same time because the owner decided to renovte it and there is a city garbage strike... Sux.

Seeing your garbage rummaged through by "scroungers" and then thrown in the alley Sux.

Wet floor varnish in your new condo Sux.

Getting to your new condo with movers and a truck full of your stuff that you can't unload because of the new place has fresh varnish Sux.

Having to store your entire home in a dusty unfinished condo Sux.

Having the selling agent offer to pay for you to stay in a hotel and then later have him tell you he will give you $50 Sux (even the Motel 6 in Dekalb, IL was $69/night, this is Chicago!).

Going back to your old place to remove the rest of the the crap you left behind....Sux.

Having the building owner call you to let you know the wet varnish wont be ready until after noon the next day when you are planning to go back to work after the 11am closing...Sux

Having to ask your mom to go back to the new condo at 1:00pm the next day to make/watch the workmen move your stuff into your condo....Sux.

Pulling in the alley of your new place at the end of the night to unload the rest of your crap and having your car break down in front of people's garage....Sux

Having to wait for a towtruck to come and jump or tow your car while a crazy woman is relentlessly trying to park in the garage you are partially blocking and her tires are getting stuck on your bumper while you try to explain to her that the tow truck will be there in less than a 1/2 hour and can she wait but she doesn't........ Sux.

Having to pay the towtruck $55 for a jump...... Sux.

Driving your car to the Auto Shop at 10pm...... Sux.

Having to then check into the hotel while coordinating with peteypuke to come and help get the rest of your misc. crap to your new place and take your cat for the night while you are checking into your hotel...Sux.

Having some guy ask you if he can have the crap you threw away so he can sell/use it for set deisgns for the Jerry Springer show...Sux.

Taking stuff for the third time to the vacant dusty condo at midnight...Sux.

Getting to a hotel at half past midnight when you are tired, bruised, and anxious because you are closing on a condo the next day....Sux.

Getting up at 7am to go to the bank you think opens at 8am to get your closing check to find the branch you went to is open at 10am and frantically trying to find another one that happens to be on the very street your hotel was on....Sux.

Getting to closing and having it only take and hour but then wait for another 1/2 hour for the Selling Agent who never shows up, is always late, looks like he is 15, and who's real estate partner is there, cute, but brought his new born baby and is married ....Sux.

Going to pick up your car from the auto shop to then drive down the street on your way back to work and have it break down in the exit of a McDonald's...Sux (thank god my father was in front of me and saw my arms flaling out of the window and my lights flashing).

Waiting for the mechanic to come look at your car while your only meal for the day gets cold....Sux

Finding out that when your mom shows up to have your stuff moved into your new condo but find they now decided to fix drywall and paint so she is watching Soap Opera's in the model and asking the selling agents if the other condo owners were single and then telling them how much I will love it there...Sux.

Driving your mom's car and then your dad's car which are both larger, wider, slow autos......Sux

Having your dad drive you to work which is 35 miles from your home....Sux

Getting to work 2 hours later than you thought and only working 4 hours total Sux.

Having to pick up your car for the second time in 12 hours from the Auto shop...Sux.

Re-coordinating with peteypuke to drive you home, pick up your cat, follow you home (in case of another break down) and through the BK drive through because your mom is at the new condo starving....Sux

Getting home to find the workmen who moved your stuff in from the empty condo got paint on your couch...Sux

Besides that I am great!
